I'm glad the forum is still up and running and no doubt with many more members then when I last visited. I look forward to getting to know many of the new members and talking with some of the older ones such as Zengrifter.

lol I wish Sunny. Honestly I took a break from playing BJ because I was too busy with work. I would have liked to keep up with the forum but to read all the articles you almost need to make it a part time job so it became too frustrating! Can't just let DP come and go as he pleases, trying to blend in with the usual rif raff that dwells here. ETown will have some interesting comments about this blog-barney who's come to help everyone.

DP hasn't answered a single expert question since he started visiting. zg

For those of you wondering if I kept with my end of the bargain and completed my assignment I did. I asked for some advice on card counting and on books which might be helpful for a new counter. Here is the page for you to see for yourself

Dave seems friendly and responded rather quickly. His first link for the hi-lo is decent and though it doesn't supply the reader with everything they need to know you can't expect him to write that much detail on his forum when you can just read a book. As for the 2nd link in his reply in regards to books it is severely lacking and he should recommend some more current and better books for the counter.

You still haven't ASKED those questions... and I've now ASKED you THREE times in various forum entries for them.

Put your a into g rather than your z into g I think.

I'll answer questions once you've written them.

If you've bitten off more than you can chew, just apologise, and we can move on with our lives. But if you continue to keep saying i haven't answered the questions, then its about time you asked them!

wow, I didn't know that was an assignment, but I'm pleased I was able to help. I get maybe 20 emails a day from people like yourself asking for help on all manner of topics - and about the same amount each week from people who've followed my advice and won, to say thank you.

I don't claim to be all things to all people, but I do legitimately try to help others.

Re the books - if you've got recommendations for further blackjack specific books to promote, I'd be happy to write a follow up entry about them.
