Hi everyone!!!

I've just been playing blackjack for two years and I would like to improve my skills!!! I want to play perfectly each hand and to take the advantage on every situation!!!
I perfectly know the basic strategy and I use the Revere plus minus strategy. I'd like to learn some other counting strategies.
Can someone tell me what other strategy I can use?
I also would like to find some other books which explain in detail how to play the complicated hands (16/10, 12/3...) that we have much too often when playing blackjack.
Most of the time when I play, the casinos (I am from france) use 6 decks, burn 5 cards at the beginning of the game, use the early surrender rule, we can split up (with the same cards) and double double down after split
I have read "Playing Blackjack As a Business" and "Blackjack Bluebook II"
I am planning to read Stanford Wong's "Professional Blackjack" and as I told you I want to play perfectly (I will spend as much time as necessary, to do so!!!!)
can you tell me what other books I should read?
Thanks for all your advice which have been so far very useful

merci et au revoir!!!

Off the top of my head in no particular order:

Professional Blackjack (Hi-Lo and Halves counting systems)
Blackjack Attack (3rd edition is current one)
Blackbelt in Blackjack (Red 7, Zen, and high-Lo lite counting systems)
Theory of Blackjack
Million Dollar Blackjack (Advanced Plus/Minus, Advanced Point Count counting systems)
Burning the Tables in Las Vegas
Blackjack for Blood (AOII counting system)
Beat the Dealer

there you go - several books on advanced counting systems (including basic strategy deviations), risk management, blackjack history and theory, and survival at the tables.

im sure others can add some more for you if you want, but i consider the above essential to my library.

good luck -

Two points in your post stick out. The first, do not use Revere's Simple Plus/Minus in a shoe game. Simply won't work. If you like Revere's systems then use his Point Count in the book, or better yet, our very own AutoMonk has redesigned and simplified the RPC for human consumption. I'm sure for a few bananas he'll be glad to share it with you.
Secondly, you mentioned EARLY SURRENDER. If that is, in fact, the case you are playing a game with a significant advantage and can be quite profitable. I would double check that rule and make very sure it is indeed Early and not Late Surrender and then get back to us.

thank you for your answers,
I have ordered all the books and I will study them this week!!!!
yes, it is the early surrender (I will check when back in France but I am pretty sure of it).
I am currently working on Ken Uston's +/- strategy, I will follow your advice and study the AutoMonk system where can I find it?

thank you again for all your advice!!!!

merci

au revoir

The easiest way would be to look up "Ben Franklin Count" on our search feature.
De rien et bonne chance!!
