Please assist me with some tips. I have been practicing can count a deck of cards in under 35 seconds. Also am proficient on Blackjack Strategy and can count many rounds of cards on simulation
Have been playing since Oct 2017 2 times a week and Only lost 2 times and that was when I went and played other card games or stupid slots which I know better. Have won $4200 in 3 months on 6D BJJohnCrover said:Practice with fake money before you ever risk money in a casino. Make sure you know the basic strategy for the game you're planning on playing.
I play at most an hour at a time. Sometimes if get up fast 20-30 min. I bet on average 20-75 a hand. My max bet is usually $100. All this money I have won so far is me playing 2 hands at a time and without counting cards. The Martingale system from what I have read is not the greatest. All I want to do is count cards No betting Strategy. I will bet as I see cards coming with the count but what I am asking is advise. Like I said I have Basic Strategy down but want to improve counting need adviseJohnCrover said:Okay, when you talk about how much you play it doesn't help when you say twice a week because we don't actually know how much that is. Do you play twice a week for ten minutes at a time? Do you play for 8 hours? You're up 4200 but that's nothing if you have been playing 10 minutes twice a week, with a max bet of 800, in contrast, if you played 8 hours a day twice a week and your max bet was 100 then that's more significant. When you talk about losing only two sessions it really has no significance. It's like playing the martingale betting betting system and touting about how you win 99% of sessions.
I am using the Hi Lo system. I have been looking and studying many videos and learning to count a deck of cards, doing Hi Lo, practicing using Basic Strategy and overall just doing alot of repetition to improve memory and speed of countingJohnCrover said:Well, which card counting system have you been working on?
If you do not want a betting strategy, why do you want to learn to count cards? Counting cards and betting strategy work together hand and hand. All based on sound money management principals, that enable a player to overcome the house edge and hopefully win in the long run.Aaron n Lewis said:All I want to do is count cards No betting Strategy.
I am using my own betting strategy that seems to work for me, I play to win for the most part my betting seems to follow patterns such as I bet $20-75 a hand x 2 and as the cards are coming out if I see a pattern I start to raise and lower my bets. I am looking for tips on how to count cards and learn Fast. I have been learning how and I am picking up very quickly so what I am asking for is advise on how to start in the casino with counting cards. Does the Hi Lo actually work? If this does I am doing 20+ rounds of 3-4 players and able to keep the count. do most people sit at tables with auto shuffle? What position is best to sit at? How to disguise CC? These are some of the questionsBoSox said:If you do not want a betting strategy, why do you want to learn to count cards? Counting cards and betting strategy work together hand and hand. I still going to go to the casino to play and try out the Hi Lo system and use my betting system. I will take your advise and buy a shoe, six decks of cards, discard tray, plastic cut cards and a automatic shuffler. Thank you for your input and any tips you can provide me will be helpfulMeistro said:I recommend you get a shoe, six decks of cards and a discard tray and practice counting cards at home for 100 hours until you have it down pat.
Could you let me know where I can find a skills test? I am not seeing anything on the site. Thank youMeistro said:"I still going to go to the casino to play and try out the Hi Lo system and use my betting system. "
Don't do that. You are nowhere near ready and will lose a ton of money. Stay away from the casino until you can pass a skills test.
