New way to be backed off?

I've been frequenting a casino in AC for approximately the last four years; have been full RFB since day one and have had extremely good success at this particular casino.

Over the 4th of July weekend, played in my normal range the first day, $25 and $50 tables with approximately two and a half hours playing time and an average bet over $100, plus a little over 2K, normal AC rules, and which I believe is the problem, NMSE.

On Sunday, July 4th, ventured into a new area the casino had just opened and was observing and backcounting at a $10 table. The count zoomed and my girlfriend and I sat down and secured three spots, her betting min and me at $20, with me ramping up like an ICBM. I noticed two of the pit people observing me, and so I colored up a little over 4K and left.

Checked out very early July 5th and on July 6th and 7th had my credit card charged for over $800 for food and beverage.

Upon contacting my host, was informed, "Your level of play was not at your normal level and there's nothing I can do about the charges. With regard to future trips, we will evaluate your play and make a determination concerning charges".

Anyone have any similar experience?

No, but if you were told the room and food would be comped, I'd dispute the charges.

Several years ago, I was backed off in a CT casino, comp points zeroed out, etc. I was half-expecting the suite would be charged to my CC and had every intention to dispute it, but they didn't go that far.

Exactly. If your reservation says comp, it's comp.

Call your credit card company and dispute it.

I would actually guess this isn't heat related, but rather a dick-move by the casino because you just didn't gamble enough.

I've stayed in comp suite for 3nights and did not log an hour. They have mentioned to me that I am blacking out any future offers. Most of the casinos respect your current offer.

Wow, that's pretty messed up. I would dispute the charges immediately.

You say food and beverage was charged, your room/suite was probably comped...but they banged you for all dinners/drinks for the weekend where as they normally just comp everthing

Casino host: What we've got here...a failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way [you] want it... well, [you] get it. I don't like it any more than you [do]. [I mean, what makes you think you can just win like that, and then check out, and not give us a chance to get what's ours back?]

I typically avoid that by checking in with cash deposit + comp. No CC to bill... and yes - revocation of comp is not unusual. zg
