No das - cost of ev

What does it cost to not be able to double after the split.

I heard you cant do that in Wendover and I know it is going to be upsetting to me. At least they dont hold you to double only on 9 or 10.

How much ev do we lose for no das.

Wait a minute, SD games are almost always no DAS and H17. It's still a fantastic game in Wendover. Just make sure you know all the right split plays, there are a lot fewer splits because you can't DAS.

If you're there at the right time, there might be a monkey running loose in the casinos.

I have, but it is only worth it for the BS player. If there is 5 or more hands at the table it is shuffled after each round. The table is not open 24/7 and it is usually full. Both times I played the game it was very frustrating. When the table had a couple players the ploppies decided to play two hands thus causing the dealer to shuffle after each round!!

There's that truck stop. I remember when Caesars had a 1D s17 DAS LS game. zg

I have played 6d for so long I have a hard time adjusting to DD much less SD.

Would you abandon hitting 13 and 14,15,16 against 23456 in negative situations to save your cover?

After 6D single is just such a shocker. You are bumping your bet every other hand.

Would sitting one out in the middle of a single deck draw heat?

Why not just sit out the deck if it went south. Now thats pushing it!

If you play on the weekend in Wendover you can wong in and out sometimes. If you do it too much you might draw some unwanted attention. Wendover is the only place I have jumped in middle of a deck with no one stopping me from playing or getting mad at me. I rarely will wong at SD in Wendover I prefer the weekday when tables are empty you will get better pen and more hands per hour. Playing a full table in Wendover is a lot more detrimental to your hourly profit compared to Reno area SD games. Wendover games have the Royal Match bet that slows down the game.

Even the Alamo is nDAS. It does, however, have both DOA and late surrender. Man I loved that place. Truckers were drunk as hell and the dealer looked like a lumberjack.

Barona has their much-hyped single deck game with DOA DAS (basically zero edge).

One interesting (to me) side effect of playing the restrictive single deck games was that you don't really have one hand turn into a total monster like you can in a shoe game. In other words, no splitting to four hands and then doubling all of them. Heck, I think playing a SD game, I ended up splitting 3's to four hands (thus using every three in the deck), and the dealer even commented that that was pretty freaky.

So, there's no single hands that get out of control, but your bets are still flying all over the place. Especially if you're spreading 1:10. And then you're flying out of the place.
