While the strategy is the same regardless of whether you're using or not using any form of AP you're surely doubling the house edge by playing 2 pockets when you don't need to - a bad move?Sonny said:There are a few programs that will let you play two hands at a time. Casino Verite is the best overall practice software for blackjack. But the basic strategy for playing two hands isn't any different than for playing just one. Only if you have to raise your bet to play multiple hands. For example, if you normally play one hand of $20 but decide to switch to two hands of $10 each then you will still expect to lose the same amount of money (although your short-term variance will be a bit smaller). But if you play two hands of $20 then you will expect to lose more money because you are betting more.Richard Pugh said:While the strategy is the same regardless of whether you're using or not using any form of AP you're surely doubling the house edge by playing 2 pockets when you don't need to - a bad move?
