Number of players and SCORE

According to CVCX, when there are four players at a table, you have a better SCORE than when there is only one. This doesn't seem to make any sense.

The difference is substantial. Can anyone explain?

Depends on how you are playing, and several conditions. If you are playing a Wong-in or out game obviously you need players at the table. Also, a SD game using Rule of X pen will have poor pen with one player, the best pen with 2, and acceptable pen with 3 or 4. This will be most significant when you are in the last seat, because of the importance of play decisions in SD.

When I decrease the rounds per hour to accomodate the three extra players, the win rates goes down, but the SCORE remains the same.

However, when the hands per hour increases, so does the standard deviation per hour. I think this is what's causing the lower SCORE...
