Penetration trick backfires.

At Sands Casino in Bethlehem, I asked one of the new dealers (5th day on the job) to push the cut card waaaay in the back. She refused twice. On the third time, she called the pit boss and complained. The pit boss looked straight at me and told me in a firm tone not to tell the dealer where to place the cut card.

Next time insist that she move the cut card waaaaaay up! She'll think you're up to something nasty and, as most women are wont, will do exactly the opposite.:grin: P.S. And don't forget to throw in the sexist slurs.

The only AP I've seen successfully talk a dealer into giving better pen is... InPlay  when sharing a table with him by chance a while back.

I have been pretty successful at persuading dealers at Foxwoods to push the cut card back.
They told me that they were instructed to cut out two decks. I’ve had discussions/debates back and forth with the dealers on the thickness of two decks. Several of them said, “Okay, I’ll do one and half, but that’s it.” The excuse that I always use is, “I hate wasting time watching the shuffle. I’m sorry for being impatient.”
At Mount Airy Casino on the opening week, I got a dealer to cut out one deck.
The most amazing thing at Mount Airy Casino was that I was able to persuade an inexperienced dealer to play one more round *after* the cut card came out.
That’s why I was nonchalant about asking the Sands dealer to push the cut card back. The dealer at Sands was a very young Asian girl with a broken accent.
I know that the burn card doesn’t contribute much, but I’ve been able to see the burn card all the time at Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, Mount Airy, and Sands. There was absolutely no suspicion what so ever. When the dealers change (for breaks), my usual excuse is, “Did you burn his blackjack Ace?”

Once, a dealer did this in error. He basically forgot that the cut card came out in the last hand, and he started to deal the next one. I waited for the outcome before saying anything. He showed an Ace, and soon after, declared that he has blackjack. Before he grabbed everyone's bets (full table with bets between $5-$20), I showed him the cut card and told him "weren't you supposed to shuffle?". He called the pit boss, and the pit ruled the hand dead, so we kept our money.

Obviously, I was going to shut up if I won the hand. Though, the whole table was pretty happy keeping their money :)
