Planning a trip to Vegas in a few months

Hi there...I'm currently planning a 2 day trip to Vegas in a few months. I play BS Blackjack and was just wondering, do ALL LV casinos use CSMs? Are there any 6/8 deck shoe games left? I know for BS players it really doesn't matter, but I've had some HORRIBLE experiences with CSMS vs Shoes. I went ahead and got Stanford Wong's current conditions newsletter. I should have enough BR to be able to play up to $50/hand no problem. Again, I'll only be there 2 days but I hate going somewhere underfunded. Torture.

Well, if you read the CBJN you bought, you'll see there's still a great number of places dealing out of shoes, a smattering of legit doubledeck games, and two (2?) legit single deck games.

I'm not aware of any casinos that are 100% CSM in vegas?

Re:

Thanks. I wasn't sure. I actually asked that question while I was waiting for the newsletter to arrive via email. I've never played outside of the Midwest and always hear people complaining about CSMs in Vegas. I see there are quite a few decent games.

The games to play are downtown...especially the El Cortez...PLUS, the drinks come quicker and more frequently when downtown, in case you are looking to spend some time drinking (but not when playing 21, hopefully)

modification: The drinks come quicker everywhere in vegas the more you tip the waitress. ;)
