Playing at tables with more than just you

I dealer to myself all the time at home out of a 6 deck shoe. When I play heads up against the dealer I almost alway come out ahead, but when I deal my hand and other hands that I don't bet on( to simulate other players at the table) my counting stratagy doesn't seem to work and I usually come out behind. I use the hi-lo counting methed and raise my bet 1 unit for every +1 true count. Any help on how to vary my play with more people at the table and any other tips would be greatly thanked.

You don’t need to change your strategy for other people at the table. The decisions do not change.

What you are experiencing is just the variance of the game. Your short-term results will fluctuate wildly. That is normal.

In positive counts, play two or more hands (adjust your bets downward to about 70% of what you would do on a single hand).

In negative counts, just play one hand.

Thank you for the advice it is very helpful to me. I have another couple of questions, this one probably sounds like a very dumb one but is it 18 or 21 years old that you have to be to play in a play in a casino and the other is more like an opinoin from everyone who responds but what does everyone think is the miximum you can beat is without drawing to much attention to yourself.

You can enter some indian casinos in the US when 18 of age, but most casinos have 21. In Europe however, many casinos have 18.

The maximum bet without drawing attention yourself varies from place to place, but the general would be around 300$, then when most pit bosses will direct serious attention to you. But some casinos may already have your attention at 100$ bet.

This varies from casino to casino. The bigger the casino, the more corporate it is, and the closer it is to other casinos, the more it will take to get you on the radar. At smaller, isolated, Indian casinos, don't be surprised if black chips are scrutinized heavily. At large, Las Vegas Strip MGM-Mirage casinos, you can cash purples without any scrutiny.

More likely it's your betting ramp rather than your card-counting.

Try to figure out, assuming you count perfectly, whether you are playing an overall +EV game etc.

What betting strategies would everyone else suggest.
probably something more like this if you play all hands, though i dont personally use hi-lo, so someone who does can step in:

TC: bet
<=0: 1 unit
1: 2 units
2: 4 units
3: 8 units
4: 10 units
5: 12 units
6: 15 units
