Ploppy heat

A ploppy ratted me out to the PB and i got half shoed.

She just guessed I was counting, i didnt tell her or anything, and the pit freaked out.

But get this, the heat went away after an hour because, at this microlimit casino, the pit have NO IDEA what to look for.
Do they expect me to have a third eye, or cackle maniacally everytime i win a hand?:devil: lol
At any rate i do want to avoid this situation in the future so what to do?
I literally dont talk to ploppies ever, i have become a pro at ignoring people, but this looks so weird: on the other hand i recently relaxed my standards and engaged some ploppy next to me until he was rude to others and i ignored him again. So he tells the pit at this different casino i count and they freak out and im halfshoed!
This was two days ago, and i figure ill just wait a month and see, because the pit cant count; its microlimit, they've never halfshoed anyone before and hey, its just his word really.
So now im back to not talking, except cordially, to the dealers and im going with this for a while.

What can one say? She couldn't have KNOWN you were counting, because she was a ploppy! She just took a dislike to you, made a guess, and told the pit you were "counting" because she heard somewhere the casinos didn't like it. If she DID have any skills, she would have risked getting HERSELF backed off by doing this. The pit SHOULD have known this, and should have realized that she was, therefore, full of baloney, but didn't. So you were a random victim of a dumb ploppy and a dumb pit. This stuff happens.

All I can say is, that to prevent this kind of thing, consider TRYING to stay on good terms with other players and with the pit. But it's not always possible.

How could she have thought you were counting if she is in fact a ploppy? Maybe she read Bringing Down The House? Maybe. Anyway-if you've found a casino where no one has any idea how to count,good for you! Keep being cordial and rake it in! Good luck!:joker:

If she thinks anyone who wins in a session must be counting, that will encompass 45% of all the players. A good comeback to that is "Oh yes I can count cards. I have [hand total]. It's so easy to count"
