I'd like to hear from all members. Please respond with your modus operandi for playing blackjack to your advantage.
1. Do you count? If so, which system?
2. Shuffle track
3. Hole card
4. Other (please explain)

Thanks.

1) Mentor Count
2) Shuffle Track WHEN I CAN
3) Holecard WHEN I CAN
4) Switch to two hands when there are 3 or more other players and the count is favorable. Wong out of negative counts. Talk to the dealer. Buy splits, double downs, Fill in "doubles for less" Comp Hustle. Drink. Insure other peoples' hands when the insurance bet is favorable. Ignore most side bets. If there is only a CSM table open I ask them to open a shoe game with higher stakes.

Also, another thing I do is if I come to a table mid-shoe I always ask "has it been a good shoe???"

If I get a "Yes" that means the good cards are gone.

If I get a "It's been brutal" that usally means a lot of small cards have played. Usually helps.

Also, if my brain "jars" while counting (solo) I have a BS card. I look at this for a minute while I remember the count and adjust.

1. Hi-Opt II and HiLo (for tracking shoes)
2. Mostly tops/bottoms or cutoffs, but I’m slowly getting better at tracking random slugs
3. Can you believe my wife actually caught a hole card before I did?! I was furious! :flame: Despite my best efforts I’m still stalking that elusive down card
4. I’ve had some great luck with side bets and casino promotions. Some casinos are literally giving money away!

I've occasionally used some other techniques like sequencing, scavengerring (word?) and partner play, but nothing much to speak of. I mostly focus on counting and tracking.

Not necessarily this order -

1. ZEN
2. Cut-off Tracking
3. Ace-sequencing
4. Hole-carding
5. Side-bet counting (LLs, RM)
6. Scavenger play (partner doubles, splits)
7. Coupons
8. Comps

1. Yes, modified RPC for shoes and Unbalanced Zen for pitch.
2. Not very much, my visual skills aren't that good but I do use cutoff tracking.
3. When I can. I'm a bit tall for that, plus it is only shoes in my part of the country and shoe holecard opportunities are more rare.
4.
a) Sequencing- ace, high-slug, low-slug
b) Forcing and exploiting dealer errors.
c) Scavenger play
d) Cashable comps
e) Borderline cheat plays

1) I make extensive use of coupons and promotions.I already have over $500 worth of match plays for my late Feb. trip and will hopefully have many more before I leave.
2) I hustle comps big time. Most comp systems almost beg to be exploited.
3) I use a modified form of Kiss2 for BJ,and Oscars Grind for roulette.

1) abuse promotions
2) online bonuses
3) KO

Then I got kick out of my only casino and the government shut down online gambling, so now I do nothing involving blackjack. But all that will soon change when I turn 21.

Why wait? zg
Because I believe that getting caught with a fake/novelty ID poses very real and serious consequences. Do you have any suggestions? What I might do is get one of my friends to go to a bar that offers an insanely great game, and ask what they would do to a person if they were gambling underaged with a fake id.

I mean hey, fake ids, those sound cool. But I need to be assured they're worth the risk.

Get a fake ID from california, nobody in north dakota will even know what it is supposed to look like. That's a good tip, always get an out-of-state novelty ID.

I know you wont do that though because you really dont have all that long to wait...
