Good night yesterday. Starting to look at it as my "second job". No heat and a decent profit of about $70 per hour.

Lots of hands played.

Some really fast fast dealers. Almost couldn't keep up with one of them. Switched tables soon after but that's how I learn. Then the FEAR of playing the game is wearing off. Not being replaced with cock sureness but just a decent awareness.

Helped that the local casino has changed to more favorable rules. Or that I found the tables with better rules.

The pit boss had a nice rack too. She's really too sweet to be on the floor...

I'm assuming that $70/hr is how much you've won divided by how much you've played? Because a mathematication expected value of $70/hr is pretty darn good, would imply you're playing at a fairly serious betting level. (probably $200 max bets at minimum, assuming you're playng a really great game)

Best. Casino. Ever.

It was a higher yield than I expected. In fact I was very surprised that the night went so well. My maximum bets were only in the neighborhood 120 or so, but capitalized at a better than average win rate.

Then during my flat bets i converted an unusual fraction of my stiff hands to 21's and 20's.

The night started off poorly and I dropped nearly two hundred right off the bat. I attribute that to over eagerness and betting a little too high in situations where i should have been betting thirty or forty but not sixty to eighty.

Basically I just learned to be more patient and really wait towards the end of a shoe with a high TC.

Some dealers were lightning fast. One in particular was REALLY fast and even seemed to be hitting my hand without my consent. "Slow it down buddy, I'm thinking" had to tell him that twice. Jerk!

Oddly the worst games I had were with this elderly dealer who dealt slow. The shoes all stayed neutral and the whole table lost. Equally bad he had a warped sense of humor. Whenever he showed an upcard ace he'd make a motion like he really had a blackjack and scare the crap out of the rest of us. Reminded me of some Sci Fi thriller character. Like the evil butler in "Rocky Horror".

Over all I was stoked. Still am. A great evening for me. Gonna leave this casino alone a couple weeks though. Will soon check out another joint north of here recommended by one of our members.
