I had to sign up here mostly because its the only intellectual discussion i've seen out there regarding the Shuffle Master 'Royal Match'.
I must say over years of testing this out and going back and forth between Atlantic City , this electronic version is the biggest scam ever. Its also very bad for noobies that have never played blackjack before. As the horrible odds on this electronic version will persuade them from ever playing real blackjack.
I've lost thousands on the electronic version, and Won everytime at the real table games in atlantic city playing with the same method
I say 'Won everytime' because that is the truth. Everytime only means 8 times over the last 2 years in atlantic city though.
The biggest difference there is between the electronic version and the real table games is THIS -
You NEVER lose so many hands in a row at real table games compared to the electronic ones.
At the electronic ones, you could lose 10 to 12 hands in a row EASILY ! Almost every single time I go there I lose 10 to 12 hands in a row sometime within a 2 to 3 hour period. Its almost like they have it programmed like that so that people that use negative progression techniques have no chance in h*ll at winning.
Now to real table games...Atlantic city / Las Vegas / whatever.... I have sat at the same blackjack table for 12 hours straight on several occasions and NEVER lost more then 8 hands in a row. In fact the entire 8 times i've been down there over the last 2 years, i've NEVER lost more then 8 hands in a row. Could it happen ? Yes. but rarely if you play with your head and dont get excited and start betting stupidly.
Basically i've broke even from all i lost to these ridiculous electronic versions...compared to the real table games. I live 5 minutes away from a casino here in PA. (unfortunately were not allowed to have table games here in PA.....yet) Thats why I go to atlantic city..
Basically my system is negative progression with more security I guess you could say.
Whenever I win a hand , I ALWAYS bet minimum after.
Whenever I lose a hand I use the following -
(1) minimum bet .....if I lose again...
(1) minimum bet......if I lose again...
(1) minimum bet......if I lose again...
(2) double minumum bet....if I lose again...
(4) if I lose again.......
(8) if I lose again.......
(16) if I lose again......
(32) if I lose again.....
(50) if I lose again.......im fokked.
I used the above as an example for a $10 table where (1) would be a $10 and (50) would be $500
The only way you would lose all your money is if you lost 9 hands in a row. Its never happened yet. If your at a $10 table, you have to start with $1000 so that you can cover. Most people dont do it because their scared and think they'll lose all their money. Which is why most people lose....because they only start with a few hundred dollars.
The most important thing with this system is you CANT get excited and start betting higher when you start winning more often...the urge is hard to fight sometimes, but be a robot and you'll be alright.
This russian chick I was at the high roller tables with the last time...she was the first person I ever played with that played exactly like me. And she also won big that night...and claimed she wins all the time. The only difference between me and her is she used one more step of caution then I did. She would bet minimum 4 times in a row before doubling...as I only do it 3 times. Her way is more cautious but also takes a little more time to pile in the doe.
Its not something you can just hop in your car and do everyday though...its torture mentally.
Just stay away from those electronic versions... I learned the hard way.
