Proper 6D Shuffle???

I don't know if the word "proper" is correct to use but here is what happened to me during this last trip to the Hoosier State Shuffle and Shill Casinos.

At the Horseshoe in Hammond they placed the cut card at aprox. 1.8 in a six deck game. After getting the not welcomed sign I played Resorts and Majestic Star.

Both these houses placed the cut cards directly on top of the discards prior to the shuffle. Not one place plugged the cut cards. I understand this is great for ST, but I don't know how to do it. I asked this question concerning the 6D shuffle on another forum and received some good information.

I would appreciate any information on how the shuffle is handled (6D) in most casinos throughout the US. Normally I am used to seeing the cut cards plugged into 3/4 places in discards. I would appreciate any information concerning this procedure from various casinos experienced by AP's.

Thanks in advance,

Jim from my experience most casinos plug the cut cards as you say in three different sections of the discards. i'd love to find a joint where they just dumped the cut cards on top and went from there with the shuffle. since you know the count at the point where the cut card is reached then you know the composition of that plug of cut cards. if you carefully watch the shuffle you can tell where that plug ends up (you also know the count and composition of the discards). then you can cut them where you want them or watch the player cutting and see where they end up. that can be some very powerful information.
i don't think i've ever been in a joint that didn't plug the cut cards at least twice.

Sagefrog....both Resorts and Majestic in Buffington Harbor place directly on top. At this point in my game development I'm not effective at ST. I started yesterday after I returned and within six months I will return to Don Barten's Hoosier Shuffle joint with additional amo. They are not going to change back to plugging because Barten is a pig and has a loyal following of stupid poppies. He almost got me, but my last bet was for $500 with dealer busting thus breaking even from the four hour session. Before making the bet from $15 to $500 I had talked the Pit Supervisor into plugging a few shuffles:cool: and caught a positive count with one deck left to deal in shoe...hit and ran. Broke even, but I will return and get paid the next time. You can bet on it.
It's personal now.
