I was playing at the nickle table early one morning with a couple guys that had that kind of spiritual look to them. When I stayed out a couple hands one fellow immediately said "Are you getting out"!! Let me know when you get back in!!

I slowly and politely told him that when he saw my wager in the circle that it would be a good indication that I had re-entered the game.

No need for wisecracks from my seat just good investigative reporting.

This is a perfect opportunity to take advantage of! Try this: Hey it looks like
your side of the table has been gettin all the luck, don't get mad if I try to shake it up and get a little luck over here! (Said with a big smile). Then, when you get back in, announce to them, 'gettin back in'. Then they might, just might actually pull out !!! Either way it looks like your gettin in and out to change the flow, how nice. If they do stop once you start again, well your the one playing when it counts!

Blackjack etiquette regarding the "flow" of the cards does not apply to card counters. I jump in and out of a shoe based on the count, not what ploppies say to me. And I can spread to 2 hands in a high count to get more of the good cards to myself. Wonging does increase the house edge of the other players.
