If i am using ko for 2 deck and six decks.how high past the pivot point does the count have to be to move to two hands.and is moving to two hands with large bets out a real give away as to counting.

I've had pretty good luck spreading to 2 hands when the spot is available and I'm allowed by table rules, at +4 when I'd normally push out my max bet. I lower the bet from a 10 unit bet to 7 or 8 units on each hand (6-deck). On double deck, I spread to 4 units instead of 5 but still do so at +4.

So far, I've never been questioned on it.

I suppose there's some correct way to do this

That's kind of what I've been thinking.

For 6-deck, I spread to two hands when the count goes above -3 (KO). Since the shoe is favorable at that point, I want to start hogging the good cards for myself, instead of letting the other players have them.

I think adding a hand with lower bets out could be seen as an attempt to change the flow. With larger bets out it seems a little more obvious that you're going for the $$$$.
