what hotel would you stay at (both are L.V main strip hotels and located pretty close to each other)?

Hotel A: made money at my last session and have marginally better penetration than Hotel B in their Double Deck game.

Hotel B: lost 100 units in about 2 hr of play in their double deck.

BTW, i'm planning to play more 6 decks this comming session with some wonging.

Nothing Matters, Everything Matters

If you are planning on playing more shoes then stay at the one with more shoes.:joker::whip: If they are close together then the decision is probably just as close since you will probably be playing both places. Low rates can also be nice!:joker::whip:

Both have lots of shoes and the room is comped at both places.
I'm just wondering if by staying at the place where i lost many units on my last session will bring me less heat during my upcomming session.

Doubt it. Unless they specificlly remember you from a previous session as a nonthreat, a lifetime loss probably won't make a difference. Depending on your betting limits though, you may not want to stay where you play, as they can kick you out in the middle of the night if they see you as a threat after playing. However, I doubt that will be the case for you.

Decide which Hotel you plan to play at most and stay at the other one. It's always best to not stay where you play. Then you can keep rotating. Stay @ A, play @ B. Then you will receive good comps from hotel B, and next trip you can stay @ B, and play @ A again, or play @ C and keep the cycle going.

Unless you think you might be kicked out, what difference does it make? If one hotel sees that you're counting, whether you're staying or not, they're probably not going to offer you comped rooms.

True, but I was referring to the posibility of being kicked out. Has never happened to me, but have read stories of AP's who have been barred and kicked outof the room in the middle of the night. I always make it a practice to either not stay where I play or if I do, I tone down my spread a bit there for that trip.

Those stories are usually told by wannabe infamous ap's. It is annoying to hear the notorious back off stories told by the part time red or green chip half ass counters as if they are enemy #1 to the casino based on their "skill". Of course there have been times that an ap has been booted out of their room, but unless you are really notorious, and or playing big money, nobody is kicking you out of any hotel room. I've been with other players where they booted us out with our belongings still in the room, not allowing our keys to work to get in to retrieve our stuff. But that is a severe instance, with very well known ap's playing with techniques other than counting. The overwhelming majority of counters will never experience any thing more horrific then being told to play all other games besides BJ, or told that no more than flatbetting the minimum is allowed. They may also take comps away, making you actually need to pay for any future stay. But without an actual 86'ng, you will always be welcome in the hotel. The problem is it doesn't make that exciting of a story.

I seriously doubt anyone would get booted from a room. I played very high stakes (spread up to two hands at $2,000 on each) at a casino that cut me off from blackjack while I was staying there. I know, I shouldn't have been playing where I was staying and I was playing way too big. I've actually never played that big again since then. Surprisingly though, the casino still comped my entire trip and even brought me back on another comp a month or so later. When I booked the next comped trip they just told me I couldn't play blackjack anymore. They were very polite about the whole situation and treated me very well. Far from being kicked out of my room in the middle of the night.

May very well be, but personally, I am still more comfortable not staying where I am playing.
