quick question about graphs

I use BJ verite and I am running a simmulation for my style of play, hoping to do as much hands as possible to see what edge I have from looking at the graphs.

If you make an average of you win rate over lets say 30000 hands, do that equal to you edge? For those of you who have tryed their systems on BJ Verite over a lot of hands to get some kind of numbers out of the graphs, what kind of numbers do you get? And after how much hands were you able to see that average number?

I'm intrested in other graphs from other programs. For instance, can someone auto simulate a normal game to see a statistic table of like what percentage of the time the count is 0, 1,2,3 etc...

Thanks in advance

30,000 hands isn't really enough to determine your EV. you need to simulate multiple millions of hands to accurately determine your EV. but i do think about 30,000 hands of practice with cvbj may get you close to your N0 so in that sense it can give you a good idea of how your methodology is working for you. but playing out 30,000 hands is still probably only anecdotal information. as you probably know cvbj allows you to view graphs with respect to your play. graphs such as winratevsbankroll, running count&true count vs bankroll, true count vs dollars won ect.
Stanford Wong's Professional Blackjack has tables that show the expected distribution of true counts for various numbers of decks. a blackjack simulator can also give you this information for the specific game you want to test.

I think he asked before and needs a description of NO. NO is what he's looking for in his post about number of hands to double, as well. zg
