Ratio Neg to Pos sessions

What is a normal ratio of Positve to Negative sessions?

Right now I've got 24 "winning" sessions (ranging $25 to $978) to one losing session. I'm guessing that can't be right so I was wondering what other peoples' figures were like.

I guess it's good that I took this huge dive today since I've got a better game later this week... but it sucks nonetheless.

As of now, you have won 96.5% of your sessions. Im not 100% sure, but I think a decent counter should win 55-65% of his/her sessions. Good luck.

Session Win Rate

If you do not use your momentary financial status in the session as a determinant for how long to play, then you'll probably win 55-60% of your daily sessions. If however, like most mere mortals, you tend to stay longer when you're behind and cut it short when you've made a quick score, your session win rate will be significantly higher -- but not your overall net earnings.

There was some brief discussion a while ago on how you could actually win over 80% of your sessions in a coin flip game if maximizing your session win rate was your sole goal. Yet, you would not be a net winner at the game.

The way I have been doing it had been averaging me about $220 profit per 6 hours play. NOT BAD.. until this loss put me closer to half of that.

The way I have been doing has been two styles.

I travel for a living, driving everywhere I go. So sometimes I like to do a "hit & run" where I find a casino along the highway and make between $100-150 as fast as possible and get back on the road. Kind of a lucrative break from the long drive I'm doing. I did this today. Made $10 in.. about 10 minutes.

The second is when I have days to kill and time to really play an effective game. Sessions are normally around 6-8 hours of actual playing time. But I'll be in the casino longer getting comps or just watching.... or playing poker.

Often times if I wong out I stay at the table until the pit boss notices. That gets me a little more comp points.
