After that show came out, i was reading about the history of AC, The building that resorts is or is partly comprised of is one of only a couple buidlings from that remain standing from that time period (as also mentionsed in that article, but also , claridge was another, and there was one more, it was one of the non casino hotels i forget the name, ill find the article again. None of them still had the same names since they changed hands several times.

The 1920's era Dennis Hotel was built into into the wild west part of Bally's. There is a hallway with 2 floors of rooms that shoots off the main walkway between bally's park place and bally's wild west. That section was the old Dennis Hotel.

I think That madison house, formally owned by the sands was also built in the 1920's and is still standing, but not in use. For a while it was being used as offices for Pinnicle, until they pulled out of the AC project.

Interesting. I'll have to see if I can book that some time. Normally I try to get in the Dennis (the new part) but last time they put me in the Claroach and it really pissed me off.

Any rooms (even in Claridge) are better than none ;) .

Recently, there are "no free rooms" in Claridge, Dennis, nor the Bally's Tower at all. Hmm... it seems Bally's is guilty of dishonest fraudulent advertising for free room offers in the mail (i.e., "October Fall Rewards, your hotel offer inside". Its rooms are not free when a gambler calls for a reservation. Its excuses: free rooms are all booked up, but $59 per night are still available during the off days of the week.!
