Safe to use credit cards?

I like to eat at the buffets, and of course there're cameras there, too.
If you suspect that they're watching you, is it safe to use the credit cards?
They could probably get your *true* identity from the credit card information.
This way, if you ever book a hotel on the strip with the same credit card,
then they would know that you're coming to town and keep a look out for you.
They may be able to see a pattern,... a correlation between holidays and your hotel bookings, etc.
I have used the same credit card many times at different casinos.
Am I being paranoid?

On a side note, someone told me that Atlantic City casinos have an agreement with
the DMV, so if you park at the casino garages, then they'll trace the license plate
and get your true identity from DMV. However, they're limited to only NJ DMV.
Is that true or just a horror story?

I have a credit card in the name I use to play.

You could eat first, before you play. Highly doubtful surveillance is following people from the buffet to the tables :)

This is easy and convenient. You can get any name added as an "additional card holder" to your regular credit card. Great for hotels that insist on a credit card.

Surveillance will back track you from the table until you first enter the casino. Obviously they don't do that to everyone, but they have the capability. Thats why wongers will occasionly exit a casino and enter thru a different door.
