I'm not too sure where this post should go. I was researching September 11th, 2001 and I saw a thread here. However, it wasnt exactly what I wanted to say.
I spent hours tonight looking at the pictures and reading the profiles of the victims of September 11th. I learned about their families, children, hobbies, jobs, and so many other things. There were so many! Each page I read brought fresh tears to my eyes. To be quite honest, even though I don't know anyone on those lists, and even after all this time, it hurts to see those pictures and remember that horrible day.
I dont know if anyone here knew any of the victims, or had to endure the unfair loss of a loved one during that tragedy, but as an American, I wanted to post something just in rememberence to all the innocent people who lost their lives, as well as to pay tribute to the surviving relatives and friends.
September 11, 2001 will never be forgotten, nor should it ever be. Whether it was caused by terrorist, or the government, or whomever you choose to believe, the one salient point which should never be forgotten or dismissed is that none of the innocent victims of that horriffic tragedy deserved their fate. Their memory and deaths are what should truly matter. I do hope the truth comes out. I hope their passings are avenged. They deserve no less. That day should never have happened. But it did, and for what it's worth, I'm sorry I never knew any of the people who were lost. I'm sorry for the pain, and heartbreak, the sorrow, and for every tear shed by the orphaned children, widowed spouses, and bereaved parents, relatives and friends.
God bless every victim of September 11, 2001. May they all be remembered, cherished, and rest in peace.
Thank you.
