Don't get me wrong, there are a few folks here that one can learn a lot about card counting from & if you stay with it ,have the money you can win . I have been counting for years using the simple + & - count . I would set for hours waiting for the magic number, hardly ever came ,so I would watch my bank acc fade away.NOW> I am a $10 & $15 player. I start betting $15 on the first hand & according to the count , I either stay at $15 or back to $10. I don't care if it is the second hand from a 6 deck shoe or the last hand. I do get excited & bet more if the count & penetration is right . I hardly ever win or lose much ,but counting the comps , I am way ahead. I only take $1000 a trip to play with . Knock on wood , I won the last 2 trips. $150 & $48 . Don't laugh BG I won! POGO

Simple way of betting.
Find the best spread for your game, keep the count and bet accordingly to the advantage. Have a little bank to support your variance, learn to captilalize on other special situations and you shall conquer it sooner or later!:whip:

You can easily experience bad variance like this aswell, and your not getting the bigger wins your having good variance. So compared to someone who is spreading you will be way behind in the long run. But if you like it then go for it.
