Hello. I recently found a decent SD game in my area and I was wondering how you would approach it.

Conditions:
No Double After Splits
Double 10,11
Cards faced down
75% Penetration
Hand Shuffled
H17
$10-$100 bets
BJ pays 3:2
BJ pays 2:1 Monday (Promotion)

I'm using Zen count with all the indices from Blackbelt in BJ. The heat is very minimal but the place is not as crowded which can trigger looks from pit critters. I mostly get heads up play against the dealer so I try not to stand out.

My only problem I have is on my betting stragedy. I been depthcharging it and luckily i made atleast $160 within 7-8 hours of play along with breaks and lunch in one session. This puts me roughly around $20 an hour which seems decent for a redchip player.

I figured that I got very lucky that session and decided to think about a new betting spread or another betting style with a $2000 bankroll. Any insights or advice u can give me on this game?
I suggest that you ONLY use the depth-charging as infrequent cover.

Two other cover bet ploys you can use are:

1) The Sklansky Gambit - Bet your topBet off the top and do not reduce your bet untill you lose (if the house has the edge) - even if the count tanks but you win the hand keep betting your max.

2) The Grifter Gambit - (see ZG Interview - page 16)

Other good ideas may be found in the interview as well.

Use these ploys ONLY for infrequent cover to "mix things up a bit".

And play the 2-1 promo as much as possible with a reduced 1-2 spread. zg
