First of all, first post!
Second of all, hi, data here. I've always liked blackjack, used to be just a family type game you would play on long trips, ect...
After reading Bringing Down The House, I wanted to look more into card-counting. My first day I memorized basic strategy, and could play it almost perfectly when I was playing 5 or 6 hands against my brother [with a 6 deck shoe]. Eventually I decided I should learn card-counting, nothing to advanced as because I am still to young to gamble at a casino, so I did some research on the hi-lo, and practiced, and practiced it, and got pretty well at it.
But when it came to playing a single deck game, I found that the count never went passed +2 or 3, making it very difficult to know when to raise and lower my bets.
Any advice? If I am not being clear enough, let me know and I will try to explain a bit more.
Thanks,
