Single deck question

So I was playing a single deck game heads up, and first hand dealer pulls 4 consecutive aces for hit cards. Dealer even shows floor.

Of course I had to ask for a shuffle, is this something a civilian would do? I thought so, but would like some input.

Of course I had to ask for a shuffle, is this something a civilian would do? I thought so, but would like some input.

I've done it before. Got a pair of aces on the first hand, split, got one on the split, dealer pulls the 4th ace on the draw and I then told her: "Guess there's no more chances of a blackjack in this deck." She agreed and proceeded to reshuffle. If it's that obvious, there's no problem.
