Slot Play for Comps

Hey guys,

At Casino Windsor, they have a promo from April to May, where for every time you visit and play slots, you get 1x more comps.

Example:

Visit April 10th: Regular Comp Points Payouts
Visit April 12th: 2x Comp Payout
5th visit between April and May: 5x

On and on until your ninth visit and beyond (until June) where you get 9x payout.

Now, I hate slots and know nothing about them, but I feel like this could be a solid comp hustle.

Say I go 9 times, and every time till the ninth i play like 10$ worth of slots.

On my 9th time, I would play for alot more, say like $200. Which machines are the best, and should I be playing like max coins every time?

Sorry for my ignorance but I really am not a fan of slots, but do want comps!

Thanks,

David

If there are no stipulations, that seems like a pretty good promo, except you need to make 5 or six visits before they really are worth much.
As for playing max coins or not,you need to look at the paytable of the machine.Usually only the seldom hit jackpot gives a bonus for max coins.
A machine might pay X for 1 coin,2x for two,3X for three,on all payouts but the biggest jackpot. That usually gives a small bonus for having max coins in.
In any event,$200 played thru a slot machine is nothing.
As a reference-On a $1 machine, you can cycle thru $200 in about ten minutes.Harrahs gives 1 point for each $5 you play. $200 equals 40 points. 1,000 points is ten dollars in food.

Hmm... If it includes video poker, this could be good. If not, the slots up there are terrible. I believe 7-10% house edge. Some +EV for a comp hustler, but remember slots have a lot of variance too. If they have good mail offers you could get some decent cashback...

Do they have video BJ up there? Even if it pays 1-1 on player BJ,its still much better than 99% of slots.

Ooh... good idea! I know several casinos where video blackjack counts as a slot.

If video poker is allowed, Casino Windsor has full-pay Pickem, which returns 99.9%.
They have $1/$2/$5/$10/$20 denominations. It's a relatively simple strategy, and a low variance game. I'm sure this game is slightly positive all the time with the cashback.

Doesn't it have like a 300,000 hand royal cycle, though?

Many casinos give points for VP at a greatly reduced rate. Some give 50 % less, some 67% less, some give even less. If you are trying to rack up slot points, that is an important consideration.

Well, yeah, there is that little point.

Fortunately, with such a long royal cycle, most of the payback is in other hands.
Without ever hitting a royal, the return is 99.61%.

That's still better than 9/6 Jacks including the royal.

Well, that more or less settles it then.
