That's pretty much it. In 8 decks. Since that's what you start off with. I don't see how you could be too far wrong anyway.moo321 said:I've been working on Spanish 21, and I got to thinking... Can I just use the Spanish 21 BS when the TC hits -4? Or is there something I'm missing...
the REAL question is, if you are playing 6 or 8 deck blackjack, why are you still playing at a TC of -4? you should be long gone! joking aside, i'm not sure of the answer to YOUR question, sorry :joker:moo321 said:I think I was unclear in my original post. You beat me to that one! You should be outta there at -1!rukus said:the REAL question is, if you are playing 6 or 8 deck blackjack, why are you still playing at a TC of -4? you should be long gone! joking aside, i'm not sure of the answer to YOUR question, sorry :joker:
14 vs. 4 is stand and 14 vs. 3 is hit, although the index for stand on 14 vs. 3 comes on very quickly once you get into a slight positive count.jack said:Just curious...is 14 vs 3 a Hit for BS play for S21? Also is 14 vs a 4 Stand?
Curiously, after I posted this, I went and checked with the Wizard of odds. To my Humble Surprise, I was correct! What I coudnt figure out is why 11 vs A was still a BS play.(If I read it correctly) It must do with the fact of DD Rescue? Otherwise I would think, you Could add +4, to all your Hard Doubles for Level 1 Counts, thst is.Automatic Monkey said:14 vs. 4 is stand and 14 vs. 3 is hit, although the index for stand on 14 vs. 3 comes on very quickly once you get into a slight positive count.
Of course, this doesn't apply if your 14 is a 8,6! Or if it's a 4-card 14.
The other valuable hit/stand index is 13 vs. 5.
No, this is for single and double deck.rukus said:the REAL question is, if you are playing 6 or 8 deck blackjack, why are you still playing at a TC of -4? you should be long gone! joking aside, i'm not sure of the answer to YOUR question, sorry :joker:
Someone correct if im wrong, but I believe you could at TC 0. Because the 4 missing tent are = to +4moo321 said:Any answers to the original question? Can we use Spanish 21 BS in negative counts in regular blackjack?
OMG no no no - don't even think about it.moo321 said:I think I was unclear in my original post. What I meant was, when I'm playing regular blackjack, and the TC hits -4, can I use the BS for Spanish 21 as my indices?
Yes to both. In AC for sure.jack said:Just curious...is 14 vs 3 a Hit for BS play for S21? Also is 14 vs a 4 Stand?
Why would anyone even want to even if they could? I'm so confused lol. Learn a BS for a completely diff game so you could apply in another diff game?jack said:Someone correct if im wrong, but I believe you could at TC 0. Because the 4 missing tent are = to +4
Yeah, the idea is that, instead of memorizing a bunch of negative indices, I just use Spanish 21 BS at -4 or worse, because I'm gonna memorize that anyways.Kasi said:OMG no no no - don't even think about it.
Maybe I'm missing something because I can't even imagine what would give you that idea lol.
You mean use SP 21 BS in BJ
Don't do vice-versa either.
