Spanish 21 Discussion

So Kat's book is really the only reliable source on the game. I was wondering if either:

1) We could get a Spanish 21 subforum open to discuss the game... or...
2) At least use a single thread (this one) to discuss the game and advancing it futher?

Anyone else in?

I don't care where it's dicussed. I like the game and have alot of questions about it too.

i know i would like to learn more about the game too and if its beatable ways to do so. Northern California it is actually more popular than regular blackjack, when i dealt i had many players find out i was on a blackjack table and when they saw what it was thought the odds were worse on the regular game than on Spanish 21.

Before i learned even BS most of my rather large wins came on Spanish 21 so i would like to learn quite a bit more about it

Here's a question I have... I need someone to do some math...

I have H17, redouble games around, but the problem is, they cap redoubling at max bet.... so if table max is 500, your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd double can only be for 500 as well... How does this affect BS? I asked Katarina via PM, but I'm guessing she's long gone from these forums.
