I am not familiar with Red 7. What could possibly be so special about the color of a 7 vs. any other card?
According to A. Synder, if you were to use the red 7 count but count all the 7,s as an equal value +1, the count would be to heavily skewed toward the low cards. His analysis showed that if all sevens were counted, the system would'nt perform as well.
Also, it doesnt matter if you count the red sevens as +1 and black sevens as 0, or vis versa, also you couls just count both as +0.5.
Ive been learning the red 7 count for the last 2 months, just started using it on Casino Verite software with only 6 indices(you are getting 80% of all card counting gains using these 6 strategy changes), i think its quality, plus u get to your pivot quicker than using a system like KO, initial running count for 6 deck game with KO= -24 , using red 7 its -12.
