I have been learning different counting systems for the last few months. My favorite so far has been the Uston APC. However, in "Uston on BJ" he writes that his APC is impractical for future blackjack and that his SS count is close toas efficient and much easier to opperate. Is this true? If so what is a better system the SS or UBZ2? Also where can I find any info on these systems, the tags are posted everywhere but the betting and playing stategies are nowhere to be found?
Bottoms up,
This is nevertheless a kind of a difficult question to answer.
The most important factor is that casinos are leaning towards a trend of 6 and 8 deck games. Therefore it would almost seem logical to learn somethig towards something with a high BC. Since that is the most important factor in multiple deck games.
The true answer to your vexing question lies primarily in what type of player
you are and what kind of bankroll you have. For example, if you play on a team and have a 10,000$ BR you should pephaps play uston ss which has a high BC of .994. Provided that your playing 4 or more decks and know how to handle unbalanced counts. If your playing solo, primarily in a 1 or 2 deck games with a smaller BR then perhaps uston apc might be the system to go with.
But as i mentionned before the 1 and 2 decks are becoming obsolete day by day. And contingent of what kind of game your playing and what kind of BR your playing with its almost impossible to say from my point of view.
