Strange epiphomy

So when you first enter a game and the count goes negetive you often leave the table, iv typically viewed this as a losing period of playing

A thought occured that while the count is going negetive, more high cards are coming out, and that it might be possible that if say you left the table at a -10rc and only two decks had been dealt The average of all those hands played was at a tc of +5 on average for all those hands and you were actually playing with a slight advantage?

Typically im for sticking around a shoe to see how it ends if i played the first severeal hands but if this were true You wouldnt acctually be playing at a loss if you were able to recegnise you were playing at an advantage, and you coudl walk away and take advantage of your lucky situation

eh?? this may need to be reexplained because it sounds confusing even to me.

Yes, as epiphanies go, it's a real one.

Bailing on a shoe after the count goes negative is like accidentally playing in a high count. Too bad you've probably only had your minimum bets out during that period.

yea if thought if that to so as long as the count is dropping you should be winning to an extent up its kinda hard to determine when it will reverse and those pesky small cards will come out. so yea...

Off topic but that puts you higher than Einstein and Mozart and on par with Newton... I think you'd then be classified as 'super genius'.

The obvious problem and what cardcounting is about

We all recognize that when the count is going down or the bigger cards are hitting the felt, the advantage is with the player. The thing is that in order to take advantage of this situation you need some predictibility system.
We know that if a stack of cards is dealt to the end we should have a final count of 0, so we know the better the pen the more valuable our information will be. Along these lines we understand that if the count has gone plus that it will tend to even out by the end of the stack so that there is a very good chance that the big cards will hit the felt and we adjust our bets and play accordingly.

Shuffle tracking might let us know where there is an advantageous group of cards within the stack but otherwise seeing a trend where the count quickly goes down early in a shoe and using this information (or lack of information) to formulate bigger bets because you believe the count will continue to go down for the next couple of hands is not based on any kind of math. In fact if anything is true, it is the opposite, if the count is down you can within reason predict small cards will come out to even it up.

So the count could continue to drop and you continue to win but more likely the count will begin to correct itself and you will lose and that is why we are known to wong out.
