Strange Promo: What's the value?

I recently got a strange promotion in the mail from Red Rock in Las Vegas. I haven't seen anything like it before...

They've given me "Aces" that I can use whenever I want in a blackjack game. I figure I'll just wait for a decent count, nothing too obvious, and then I get to put down an "Ace" as my first card. The dealer will then deal me my second card.

Here are the rules...

- Free ace must be presented prior to the dealing of the hand
- Blackjack with a free ace pays even money
- Splitting aces is allowed, but only once
- All other Red Rock game rules apply

So what might the value of this promo be? Any math geniuses out there?

I won't comment on how many of these I was given, what dates they're valid on, or the maximum amount I'm allowed to bet. I'm guessing those details might make me somewhat identifiable by Red Rock? I know, I'm paranoid.

Thanks guys. Awesome resource on coupons. :)

Looks like the Aces are worth more than I originally thought. I'll have to make sure I'm out in Vegas for the qualifying dates and bet the max amount allowed. I also assume the value of the Aces goes up since I'll be playing them only on good counts rather than just playing them randomly. Hopefully that assumption is correct!

Keep in mind that the 50%+ ace advantage assumes a 3:2 payout for BJ. With 1:1 BJ, you are losing 1/3rd of your edge each time you're dealt a ten (happens 4/13 times). This drops your advantage by about 10%. This probably doesn't affect how you're going to play the coupons, unless your bankroll is very low, or the coupons have a very high max bet.

Always bet the max on these. If you don't have enough to bet the max, call me and we'll go half-sies.

Good point, it is a 1:1 payout on blackjack. It's a fairly high max bet, but I think I can afford it.

First Card is an Ace is an awesome coupon that has largely disappeared in Vegas. When I first came to Vegas in 2001/2002, these were in a fun book from Lady Luck, but it was limited to $5 and most dealers only took one oer player. I still scavanged enough to pay for most of my meals one trip.
Long Horn and Big Horn offered these in last years POV book, but this year they just offer regular MPs.

First card is an ace is wonderful coupon but look at the coupon most of the time the max bet is highly restricted and you usually can't bet the table max. If you can than do it even if you have to take even money on blackjack. My first card is an ace paid 3:2 on blakcjack but it was restricted to a $25 bet.
If the dealer has an ace up take even money. Second you usually have to use the coupon on the first hand of the deck. The coupon since you can only get even money on blackjack is probably worth 30% of your bet. If you got 3:2 on blackjack it would be worth 45% to 50% of your bet. Please bet the max they allow on this coupon though. It is a huge moneymaker!
