hi everyone,

once again I need your help to understand some points,

_Can "The Hi-Lo Lite Point Values" be used with all the balanced counting systems, if yes would you recommand it?
_What do you think of "The True Index" and of "the True Shoe" methods?
_Concerning the Ben Frankin count, if the TC is 10 or above, the dealer's card 5 and the player has 8,this latter must double down, but if the dealer has 6 , the player will double down with a TC which is 5 or more. can you explain me the difference between those 2 hands? as the dealer's bust out rate is the same with 5 and 6, I don't understand:confused:

thanks in advance for your answers

au revoir

-No, play index numbers change slightly bases on the point values assigned to each card for various counting systems

-If you are refering to a "true count conversion from a running count" it is almost 100% neccessary to be successful

-There is a difference in the probibility of a dealer busting between a 5 and a 6, the differnce in the value of the number assigned to change the play marks the point at which doubling makes you more money over all of the possible outsomes than just hitting, not weather or not the dealer is going to bust.

thanks for your answer,
I discovered the Hi-Lo point values in Blackbelt In Blackjack,
it means that the true edge is estimated by dividing the running count by twice the number of decks remaining.
do you think I should use this method?

The edge gets higher at a slightly exponential rate as the tc gets higher, so that is not a 100% accurate way to determine your edge, but in gereral and more than 75% of the time it will be fairly accurate, Your edge doesnt have to be known to a decimal place, the principal peice of information to be concerened about is weather or not you have an edge to begin with, so this method is sufficient.

Not Necessarily So

You do not have to convert the running count in balanced systems to TC in order for them to be successful. They are designed to convert and not as accurate if you don't but it can be done.
