In blackjack if you split are both hands independant or are they linked. Like, if one of the split hands busts, does that bust the other?

Any splits are considered separate hands. Results (win, lose, or push) do not effect the other hand or hands in the event of a re-split.

The two hands are somewhat linked in terms of their results. For instance, if the dealer busts, both hands win. If the dealer draws to 21, both hands probably lose.

However, the action you should take on each hand is independent... just follow the strategy and hope for the best results
