super sevens- worth keeping a sidecount of 7s>?

the casino in my town has a super 7s sidebet for BJ. it pays 3:1 if your first card is blackjack, 25:1 if first two i think and all the way up to 5000:1. i read that the house edge on this bet is about 10%, but would it be worth keeping a side count of sevens? and just betting on it if there's a huge surplus of 7s in the deck?

Please explain the rules. What you said above is confusing to me. Thanks,

the "7's " bet

works somewhat similar to this . You drop anywhere from a dollar up to your bet say 1 red chip I think is the max in the slot . If you get a pair of 7's in any suit it pays 50-1 then when you hit it and you get 3 sevens you get paid like 500-1 . Then there is an icremental payoffs in suited all 3 of them . 3 hearts , 3 diamonds , and 3 clubs have a payout schedule up to like$5,000.00 and 3 7's in spades pays like 5,000.00 to 1 . The max you can win is $25,000.00 on a five dollar bet. Only place I ever saw it was in Canada years ago . Not sure if they still have it . Personally I would rather bet on me going over the falls in a rowboat in January !!! and surviving !!! LMMFPLAO !!!!!1:) ;) :cool2:

I don't know.

The way I understand the bet, it also depends on dealer getting BJ. And maybe also whether you get dealt a 3rd card for a potentialy higher pay-off.

So even if you knew the last 24 cards were all 7's, it wouldn't do any good if all the aces are gone.

Not to mention knowing how many suited 7's are left would be a nice thing to know compared to just how many total 7's.

So my guess is, time and brain power is better spent elsewhere.

But, like I say, I don't know.

And, just me, if I don't know, I don't do it lol.

I think most casinos have a $1 max bet for the side bet so most of the time it isn't worth trying to beat it.
