Table condition question

I try to use the synder profit index when choosing games, one factor that I have semi-control over is number of players at the table. My question with out seeming lack a complete jerk, how do I keep my table relatively player free? This happened to me yesterday, three tables I am playing heads up and where do you think the bus load of ploppies landed. Do you think moving to one of the two other empty table would have attracted much attention ? I was spreading 1-10 which was bringing a few looks from the pit but nothing that had me worried.

Start splitting 10's that will usally clear out a few people or hit a hard 17 against a dealers 8, 9, or 10.

Try to look like you're losing, that seems to work the best. A specific subspecies of ploppy known as table lice likes to glom on to tables they think are lucky.

Or ask to have the minimums raised, if you can afford it.

Theres a lot of truth to that. I know several ploppies that choose a table based on how big of chip stacks people at the table have. After hearing that, i now try to hid my chips from ploppy view and give them a lot of talk about how bad the table has been when they stop to watch my table.

It sounds like you are on the verge of some real heat and should probably be a bit more worried.

i once bought in 7 times with 300 dollars consecutively in one shoe, and each time the gamed stopped and they had to call for the floorperson to veryify, after about the fourth time everybody left, i had a total of 300 on two spots and his basically happened after every other hand as i was losing my ass off, but with about 3 decks still left to go everybody left the table out of frusteration and all the cards were left for me:)

If your playing head up and have big money on the table, ask that they wait untill the shoe is over if it almost is, often times they will as the amount you are betting is more money than they have on them at the time and they fear effecting the cards for such a large amount of money.

i haven't tried this, but i only smoke good cigars... most people probably won't know the difference vis-a-vis second hand smoke.
