TAMPA Seminole Hard Rock

I am going to be in Tampa very shortly.

C.B.J.N. describes a Six Deck S17 $50 min. game.
I suspect that weekends are $100 only.
I also suspect that the 75% penetration listed is rather optimistic.

Can anyone inform me of present High Limit room conditions ?

Feel free to P.M. me as well.

75% pen is realistic, but you might not find that game under $100 on weekends, as you noted. All S17 games are in the HL pit, which I believe is also NMS entry, and there is a floorperson stationed at every table. They're not too sweaty, but you'll be constantly watched.

What about the Seminole Hard Rock Immokalee ?

They seem to have $25 six deckers that are S17 with less than marginal pen.

Fly into Detroit, enjoy the nice weather and friendly local folk, play a load of fine $25 6 deckers, have some great food and you can even go to Temple in Southfield near the Holocaust Museum.

Maybe myself and some of the Boyz will even meet up with you.:)

Glad to see you posting again.

just went to tampa for a session this weekend.

they had a $50 table... 6 deck, S17, DAS, NRSA, hand shuffle, no surrender, mid shoe entry ALLOWED. you definitely want to play in the high limit room and stay well away from the rest. i also find the most competent dealers are in there too, so you get dealers that can put out 200+ h/hr (with shuffling) no problem.

as for heat, i played an entire shoe and hit a bad variance swing and lost what i bought in for; when i went to stand up to take a break, pit lady comes back and acts legitimately shocked that i lost it so quickly. for the entire 5-10 minutes of the shoe, it was just the dealer and i, no pit crew, no pit boss, no heat whatsoever. spreading 1-20 without cover, nobody seems to care.

just want to correct some of the misconceptions here.

You just met a nice pit boss. There are some who are not so kind.

to be quite honest i don't know who you are running into. at both tampa and hollywood i have found almost all nice, moderately chatty pit crew members. i've even ran into some who i was SURE knew what i was doing but didn't report it, presumably because i was chatty and sociable in response (the ploppy next to me probably helped too).

differentiate between what i call the pit crew (the ones in yellow who verify all the big chip transactions and the check changes, etc) and then the ones in darker suits who are the actual pit bosses. the latter will spend maybe a minute or two on each table before going on to the next, and they are obvious; you can flatbet high when they are around no problem.

People tend to be very friendly when they are ripping off their clientele.

Tampa Hard Rock play conditions for BJ. Several 1 deck, 6-5 games. And several Spanish 21 and other silly BJ games. Among the better games is a HS 17, 6 deck 65% penetration game starting at $25. per- and going to $100., mostly on the main floors. The high limit room starts at $100. HS 17, 6-8 deck, 65% penetration. Free drinks are found here but nowhere else. I have seen some 2 deck games in the High Roller room, too. It's a HS17, but DD's are limited to 9-11. They allow BS cards at the tables anywhere. Nice, mostly quiet dealers, and the Floor Managers are helpful in all manner of things. The player card club is really cheap on comps, but if you hit them for , say 700+, just ask for a meal comp and they will write you up one for that day's use. They have few Whales in this casino due to less than desirable game conditions.
BTW They have a huge card room if that's your thing.

Those look like horrendous games, overall. 65% pen kills it entirely.
