the advantage of card counting in different casino ? pls answer

I have some arguement with my friend

i said supposed card counting can give an average +0.5% to the players

but if i go to a casino with a bad rule of card which have -0.7% house edge

is that supposed thats still a negative game to the players ??

i supposed it should be still -0.2% to the players , so the more the player bet , the more will he lost

but he argue with me that card counting can still beat that casino

he said by doing card counting player can get more bj , so they will still win in long term , but just win a bit slower

is his concept his concept right or wrong ???

Even a game with a 0.7% house edge can still be beaten using card counting. Most bad games can be beaten but it is more difficult. The average advatage is around 1-3% for the player.

It will vary but 2% is a good number

You might get a 3% gain in certain situations but I like to use 2%. So if you play a game with a house edge of .5%, then 2% for the player would leave you with a net gain of 1.5% for the player.

If you are not playing very well you might only get a 0.5% advantage…

if the casino house edge is 0.7%

then the card counting player can get at least 1% advantage

With a 0.7% house edge a good player can get a 1-2% advantage over the casino. You want to earn $300 per day? Just bet $100 per hand for 2 hours with a 1.5% advantage:

$100 bets * 100 hands per hour * 2 hours * 0.015 advantage = $300

As long as you don’t go broke you will have a nice supplemental income.
