Here's one for all of us to ponder:

Question?? If Indian Reservations are not part of the USA - then why don't people from the outside have to get passports to enter their lands - and the same for the Reservation Indians - why don't they need passports each time they travel into the USA?

My perception of it is; it's all just a bug scam that allows them to rip-off the people of our country, enjoy the benefits and protection of our military and yet not have to pay their fair share and accept accountability.

GitMo in Cuba. How is that possible? Some old deal that allows the USA to run a military base on the isle no questions asked. To me that means Bush could make the entire ilse into a GitMo. Wierd how some things written stand wile other deals make us look like we speak with forked tongues.

These casinos allow the Indians to support themselves from losing players, not every good natured soul that never sets foot inside these casinos. Reminds me of a line from Gangs of New York. Something about letting the poor from one side kill the poor on the other during the civil war, while the no draft tax of $300 kept the upper class from spilling blue blood.

The house rules are good for the house, will always be good for the house that holds the mighty pen that Abe Lincoln spoke about.

Hey, now they get to finger print us etc at the border IF we so chose to visit the land of the free. Things are getting better every day. Cause, effect, choice. Out of each adverisity springs forth a new advantage play. Can you see it?

Are you talking about Indians or Republicans?

Now now, you never know when there might be a Republican reading your posts or backcounting your table! I will greedily Wong your count away, and then go on to pollute the next verdant baize.

The largest casino in the country is Foxwoods, a casino run by a tribe that never existed called the Mashantucket Pequots. It was dreamed up by a lawyer who was like 1/16 American Indian who got himself and a bunch of other people declared a tribe. They even have a display of all their pretend tribal history as you walk in. The were funded by the Lippo "Bamboo Network", run by James Riady, a major Clinton (illegal) contributor. Although a lot of Indian casinos are run by legitimate tribes (Black Bear for example) a lot are not. Most reservations are not located in areas where there are enough people to draw into the casino. And they end up having to sign a lot of their special privileges as Indians away in order to get the casino, like liquor laws and not paying state taxes.

Either way, I believe all people should be treated the same; I'm no better than an Indian and an Indian's no better than me, and I'm just as much of a "Native American" as he is.
