The Last Casino

During the weekend I was going thru the movies you can watch using Video on Demand, provided by Rogers Cable. You can call up any movie in the list and watch it, pause it, etc, just live a DVD. I saw the title above and watch the movie:

"A professor tutors three of his students in the art of counting cards before letting them try their new skills on an unsuspecting casino."

It was a pretty good movie! If you get the chance to check it out, do so. They use Hi Lo with an A side count, the BP approach, have a slimmy investor, and the proff, who can't play any more due to being barred, ends up with a bad gambling habit that turns him into a wrotten cheater. Good action, barrings, back roomings, and ends in a private high roller game with a one deck shuffle after every hand short deck...smile The blackjack consultant really knew his stuff. Beat the possible MIT type movie release by a long shot. Without the MGM advertising budget behind it, you'd never know the movie existed. Could be a nice set up for a milli $ law suit?

Check it out if you can. Made in Canada, eh?
