My thinking may be off but in the long run if you did not care about ROR for say even up to a year would you not net more money if you went to full kelly vs. half or even triple kelly vs. half.

If you can take the swings I would think you would net more in the long run by always betting more when you had any advantage at all. Taking this to the extreme would get you some very bad lows but in general does this not make sense?

Again we have some vague parameters here but can you see were I am coming from.

Sure. Kinda.

KO rookie only has two bets, "off" and "on". You basically place the "big bet" when you have some sort of advantage. The EV is similar to KO Preferred, but the risk of ruin is higher.

Some of Ian Anderson's Ultimate Gambit techniques end up increasing the amount of money in play at lower positive counts, this actually increases EV. But again, it's a pain from a variance standpoint.

If such techniques are taken too far, they could very well break your bankroll.

And from a common sense perspective, if you see a situation with a 0.0001% advantage, but substantial risk, why would you bother wagering any significant money on it?

betting triple kelly is not a good idea, since as im sure youve read on these boards or in books, anything more than double kelly mathematically guarantees losing your BR. i know you mentioned you might not care about BR for a period of say one year, but i would be curious if anyone has ever run any sims/done calcs to see how quickly (ie how many hands) on average it would take for you to go broke betting 3x, 4x, 5x, etc kelly. if anyone has, i would love to see the results. maybe i will do thiswhen i have the time and share results. i would venture to say you wouldnt last the year, hell, even one night if you get really unlucky.

Yes, full Kelly will win money faster than fractional Kelly. People use fractional Kelly in order to reduce the risk while retaining most of the profit, but if that is not a concern then using full Kelly is the most efficient way to increase your bankroll.
