All the "I counted a CSM once" stories in JREDZ's thread made me think about my own newbie mistakes.
- I backcounted a table and triumphantly plopped down a $20 cash bet when the count hit +3 ... only to have the dealer condescendingly tap the "$25 minimum" sign. I was so startled I just grabbed my money and wandered off instead of putting more money down. Smooth, I know.
- I also played a few hands of "Super Fun 21" before realizing it's not the same as blackjack. Alcohol was not involved, I just didn't realize blackjack variations existed at the time.
