Tip the dealer by doubling hard 12 for less

Since I would hit 12 vs a 2 or 3 only once, what if I just double for less a white chip, asking for a little card like a ploppy. If I win, I give the dealer the two white chips I get from the double down portion. Or better yet, in a negative count, I hit a 12 vs 5 and do this same play. I would look like an idiot doing that, and it won't cost me anything extra if I was anyway planning to tip the dealer.

I realize the EV of the double-for-less tip is less than the EV of just placing a tip bet outright. But this is a crazy play that might be a good cover play.

Fine, but only give he dealer ONE white chip when you win. zg

Only problem with this is the dealer will be getting terrible value on their tokes. The expectation for 12 vs. 2 is -25%. Of course this is probably completely lost on the dealer and/or casino, so I guess if you really don't give a crap how much the dealer actually earns, then go for it.
