Too fast for surveillance?

Sometime this year I was playing heads up pitch DD with one of my favorite dealers (because he/she is lightning fast). Since I've logged enough hours by now to be able to make all decisions instantaneously, we make a great pair. When I'm playing heads up with this dealer I can get about 12 hands per minute playing 2 hands at once. Well, in this particular instance, after about half an hour, the pit boss stopped the game following a phone call and told the dealer to slow down a bit and make sure to keep the cards face up longer before scooping them up because surveillance was having trouble keeping up (newbs ).

I guess the laser fast play kept me safe while it lasted, but I decided it was a good time to leave now that the pit made it painfully obvious the eye-in-the-sky was following along (or at least trying to) very closely.

Though I'm thinking that playing fast (perfectly) makes it very obvious you're far more experienced than the typical player and may not always be a good idea. Any similar experiences?

Very funny! I can just see that eye in the sky pulling his or her hair out!

Why not see if your services could be used by the house for training their new eyes for a fee of course. Who knows, it might grow into a prosperous business throughout the gaming world. They still won't catch the best, who will be in and out before they know what hit them. And the camo players are already accustomed to close scrutiny. Really,is there any defense against counting other than rotten pen and lousy rules?

Planet Hollywood is working on a new AP countermeasure, scantily clad females dealing and dancing in the Pleasure Pit. I think the theory is, "You shouldn't mix business with pleasure." They also are hoping customers will miss the 50% pen in their double deck games.
