Top Tier Players Cards

When coming back from playing at the Cosmo, I realized that they accidentally printed my name on a top tier players card instead of where I am supposed to be. I have never used players cards to take advantage of the little perks, so I want to know, what can I use this card for without getting caught? I would assume that they don't scan my card at the VIP lines for clubs, but what about room upgrades?

I only know about Harrahs, but you could use that to get free valet parking at smaller casinos around the country and you can skip lines.

As far as booking rooms, no, because they would look up your account and see you aren't actually the top :(

Nice! Reminds me of a friend whos drivers license was mistakenly printed with a birth year 1986 when it was suppose to be 1988. In your case i would probably say any perk that doesnt require them to actually swipe that card you'll probably be able to get away with it. Im sure if they swipe the card they can see your not a top tier card holder. Who knows, its probably store dependant.

If it's Harrahs, they DO scan the card to enter the Diamond Lounges, and also for Harrahs tier has nothing to do with room upgrades - it's all based on your play numbers.

I'll just say, since it doesn't really reveal anything, its for the Cosmopolitan in LV
Great. Now you make Cosmopolitan employees do extra work until they find you.

Yeah time to hit Cosmo extra hard while they're distracted trying to hunt this guy down - upgrading their facial recognition software, combing through their SIN and Griffin DB, videotaping everyone in the parking lot, going through their video DBs. Watch out for my 1 x 30 spread in the HL room Cosmo!

If you do not yet have a player's card, you can simply present the Cosmo card at some casinos, (e.g. Borgata); and you will automatically commence play at their higher level. C.E.T. will start you off at the Diamond Level.

The real question is how much are these cards worth to you ?

Virtually nothing.

Entry to the Diamond Lounge is worth a decent amount.
I have not been there in years, but when I had free access to Diamond Jims at the Trop in AC, myself and a guest would easily consume some $50 worth of stuff per visit.
Its a nice little perk. A Diamond card gets you free admission to Voodoo at the Rio, and lets you skip the long lines at the buffets.

The quality of the food at the Diamond lounges has deteriorated so badly, that I refuse to eat there any more.

Diamond Lounges look you up in the computer before entry, so that WOULDN'T work by just having a card.

I love Diamond Lounges. It may not be the best food in the world, but the one at P.H. in Vegas for example has free computer use, free appetizers, deserts, and beer. Good enough for me!

If he has a Cosmo Premium card, he should be eligible for a legit Harrahs Diamond card, providing he isn't already in the system.

Whoa! I did not consider that. That is an excellent idea actually!

Flash is a picky eater and will only eat food cooked personally by Chef Ramsey or his equivalent, so... if the coffee beans were not picked personally by Juan Valdez himself and the food was not cooked by a master chef there is a good shot that he will not be all that impressed with it! Diamond club bean salad with a ham sandwich and a tray of yesterday's leftovers out of the buffet? He's not going for it because Bobbie Flay did not cook it up for him!hahaha ----- Just please try to understand this before you write off getting a snack at the diamond club altogether is all.

Tarzan is known to sleep upside-down in trees and graze on the rain forest floor for delectable grubs and semi-edible vegetation.

Hmmm. Dinner at "The Continental" was "on me", and your N.Y. Strip Steak you enjoyed mightily.

Of course, if you were paying for it, you'd have … N.J. Historians believe that circa 1989 you sprang for a Whopper Jr.

W.T.F. am I "bloviating*" about ?

*Bloviation is a style of empty, pompous, political speech which originated in Ohio and was used by US President, Warren G. Harding who described it as "the art of speaking for as long as the occasion warrants, and saying nothing".

It's because you love bloviating!

Your bloviations are why we like you so much and why I hang out with you... I seek the inner wisdom of the various bloviations!!!!

If he already had a gold card in the system, would they not upgrade him? Does it have to be new members who get these high-level card upgrades? Also same question about borg if you know.

I know the Borg will upgrade you even if you are already in their system, and they'll do it year after year. Don't know about CET.

I don't know for certain, but I doubt they would upgrade a person that averages , say 100 points a visit, simply because he shows them a premium card from another company. The idea is to attract new players, not upgrade existing ones for playing elsewhere.
