Treasure Island Siren Show?

I was staying at a nearby hotel and looked down at the Siren Show area and saw that all the water is drained and they seem to be doing renovations.

Anyone know if they are just doing repairs or if they are replacing it with something new? (Hopefully!)

it was down for renovations when I was there. why would you want it replaced? isn't it a sexy show with scantily clad pirate women?

That show sucks rotten eggs. The old show was much much better, a true battle between two fighting forces with the added benefit of watching the British ship blown up each and every time. Now it's a bunch of American Idol rejects singing and jiggling their way thru an incomprehensible plot.

You and I never seem to see eye to eye. We are polar opposites. Granted the old show was more professional but what guy wouldn't prefer to watch a bunch of scantily-clad bimbos strut their stuff on the hour? I apologize in advance to the ladies (are there any?) here.

Sure, because there is no other place in Vegas you can see talentless bimbos strutting their stuff.
The Palms is tops on my list. M is pretty good too but just the cocktail waitresses.

Thats a major part of it. Had TI simply started off with this show, it might be much palatable, but to replace a truly enjoyable, family friendly masterpiece with this swag is unforgivable.

The old Pirate Show was 1000x better than the Siren Show. It's just so terrible.
Old show was much better. It fit the T.I. theme. I'am still trying to figure out what the theme is there now anyway. You walk past Treasure Islands entrance where you see old pirate ships, go to the side entrance and walk on the old wooden tropical walkways, past the towering palm trees, and as soon as you walk in the side door, you see "Gilleys" Saloon with country music and a mech bull, as the girl dealers wear cowboy hats and chaps. Nice to look at, but much of a poleniesian theme.

The old show was much better but TI's brand is nowhere near the family friendly Treasure Island theme of yesteryear.

And to OP, the show typically closes for a few weeks around Christmas every year to clean-up and touch-up.
