We've all seen the handy Basic Strategy trainer at: (Dead link: http://www.blackjack-bst.com/)
For me this was a wonderful tool. Far superior to those colored charts with abbreviations like P for split, S for stay etc. And then trying to read those left column player hands vs. top row dealer upcards? Pain in the butt!
My suggestion: Someone put a web site up with the bet variance associated with common shoe or single deck rules.
Say TC is plus 2: How many units bet? Answer correct go on to next question etc. Just like in the strategy trainer but using the bet spread. Ingrained conditioning. I'd love to see this happening.
I like to learn this way. Sure maybe casino verite has something like this. But a simplified test software production correcting mistakes of wagering would sure make me play more securely. I know I'm very close at getting these things correct as my long term winnings are clearly in the black. But a well scripted and for free test would do wonders for many.
If you know of something free and available please spell it out.
