Tricks to learning variations of B/S according to TC

We've all seen the handy Basic Strategy trainer at: (Dead link: http://www.blackjack-bst.com/)

For me this was a wonderful tool. Far superior to those colored charts with abbreviations like P for split, S for stay etc. And then trying to read those left column player hands vs. top row dealer upcards? Pain in the butt!

My suggestion: Someone put a web site up with the bet variance associated with common shoe or single deck rules.

Say TC is plus 2: How many units bet? Answer correct go on to next question etc. Just like in the strategy trainer but using the bet spread. Ingrained conditioning. I'd love to see this happening.

I like to learn this way. Sure maybe casino verite has something like this. But a simplified test software production correcting mistakes of wagering would sure make me play more securely. I know I'm very close at getting these things correct as my long term winnings are clearly in the black. But a well scripted and for free test would do wonders for many.

If you know of something free and available please spell it out.

Actually, rounding indeces and using sets is useful, because indeces don't need to be that accurate. Have a set for 0, +1, +3, +5, -1, -3 (if you're not wonging). I believe that's what MIT did.

I Believe That M.i.t Was Lucky When They Bought The "good" Hands,
My Experience "counting" For 30 Years Is Increase After You Win And Dealer Busts.
Counting Is Best Determining Whether Or Not To Double.
Over Last Year Sept To Sept I Visited Casino Hotels 12 Times Where I Could Get A 2 Deck Game, Won 9 Out Of 12 . Had Free Hotel And Air And Food Comps

Despite the odd appearance of the posts, I think MartyK is a person. The capitalize-every-word thing is the result of him typing in all upper case. I have the 'Prevent Shouting' option turned on in vBulletin, so we see each word capitalized instead. It's still easier to read than the all caps version we would see without it.

No, not a person. Or at least not a person that has anything valuable to contribute. Or even understands grammar, really.

Zengrifter is going to accuse me

of being Norm, soon :)

However, the software you seek is CVBJ. You need to buy it, it is not free. It is worth many time its price if you use it even a little.

If anyone tells you that it costs too much or you should just find something that is free, they are beyond help. No AP would seriously balk at $50-$100 for something that can create so much more.

IMO: Good information costs something. Money, time, whatever! Searching for free, free isn't' quite right, bla bla bla. Its all time, valuable time. You can make more money in life, you can fall in love many times, but you cannot acquire more time. Pay a few bucks and get down to business without all the screwing around.

Good Luck and Cheers,
Paradox

I'd be surprised if Paradox isn't selling it. lol  Just kidding Pardox! But just because I'd like to get it free if possible doesn't mean I wouldn't spend $50 for it otherwise. Have a nice day. :)
